The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon consists of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% South Napa Merlot, 7% South Napa Malbec, and 3% Stags Leap Cabernet Franc. Its ingredients were carefully sourced from three premium appellations of Napa Valley namely, Oakville, Mt. Veeder and Stag’s Leap.
To achieve its smooth finish to the palate and deep crimson and garnet glints, it was aged in French oak for nearly 20 months. It comes in supple plum and black cherry flavour presenting very exceptional tastes everybody will surely remember.
Robert Parker of Wine Advocate, rates the 2007 vintage an enviable 96, which is something to look forward to when opening up this wine. Prestwood Cellars makes use of Cabernet Sauvignon, a variety of black grape used in producing red wine. It is considered as the premier red wine grape in the world reigning supreme notably in Bordeaux and the Napa Valley.
